Indiana Rose Evans is an actress, singer and songwriter from Australia. She is known for her as Matilda Hunter in Home and Away, Emmaline Robinson in Blue Lagoon: The Awakening and Bella Hartley in H2O: Just Add Water. She is been in the industry since 2003.
Indiana Evans was born (27 July, 1990) in Sydney, NSW. She was sent to dance classes to learn Ballet and Jazz at 7. She attended Newtown High School of Performing Arts but joined correspondence course after 2 years of attending this school.
Evans made her debut in 2003 through All Saints. She was cast in series Snobs and a few other TV series, Comedy Inc., Cops L.A.C., and The Strip. When Snobs ended, she joined as Matilda Hunter in Home and Away, got nominated for Logie Award and Inside Soap Award and left the series in 2008. In 2010, she got the role in Network Ten’s TV film, A Model Daughter: The Killing of Caroline Byrne. Evans earned the role of Bella Hartley in H2O: Just Add Water in 2009, starred in theme song of H2O: Just Add Water and other songs as well.
She made her film debut by Arctic Blast, an Australian disaster movie in 2010. In the same year, she starred in legal drama, Crownies as Tatum Novak. She got her first lead in TV film Blue Lagoon: The Awakening (2012) against Brenton Thwaites. In Feb 2014, Evans was cast in Secrets and Lies, an American TV drama. Other works include short films, Burden (2008), Smith (2011) and Gingers (2012).
