Jessica De Gouw is an Australian TV and film actress, present in the industry since 2006. She is known for her roles as Helena Bertinelli in Arrow and Mina Murray in NBC’s series Dracula.
Jessica Elise De Gouw, also Jess De Gouw was born (15 February, 1988) in Perth, Western Australia. De Gouw grew up in Lesmurdie, the eastern suburb of Perth and attended Lesmurdie Senior High School. During this, she appeared in an episode of The Sleepover. She graduated from Curtis University, majored in Performance Studies in 2010 when she was 22. At this time as well, she appeared in short film produced by club.
She moved to Sydney for her career in acting. She appeared in 2012 film, Kath and Kimderella as Isabella. She moved to Los Angeles, earned the role of Helena Bertinelli in Arrow and in 2013, she landed the role of Mina Murray in Dracula and then in 2016, as Elizabeth Hawkes in WGN’s Series, Underground.
Her filmography career includes other short films, TV series and movies. Some of them are, Bedtime Stories (2009, a short film), The ballad of Nick Chopper (2010, short film), Crownies (2011), Tricky Business (2012), both TV series and movies include, These Final Hours (2014), Cut Snake (2014), and The Rezort (2015).
