  3. Please bring back the old Woolworths and big W

My partner likes Aldi i prefer woolies as they employ more people but i am sick of the bad experiences such as big w katoomba and especially Woolies emu plains, today i wanted my uncle toabies oat flakes, the young guy in the isle tried to help he was a good kid, i asked him to ask the lady at the service desk he was told to check on line, he couldn’t find it another person did help, he wax told there was eleven in stock go and find them but he already had spent 20 minutes doing that, i asked the lady at the service desk could she help, like big w at katoomba she made me feel small especially when she picked up a box of muesli flakes and asked me if this is what i wanted, she then called for a manager who was going to start the whole process over again and i said enough is enough i went back to Aldi and found my partner, and she said i should be able to get the basic products i like from Woollies, i hope this email goes to the new person running woollies as i continually have my passion for a great company taken away, may be the thieves at the the serve service check out stole the 11 packs of oats flakes and as the computer keeps saying they are in stock Woollies at emu plains will not have them again, such as enougher prodeuct i enjoyed buying from them but no longer in stock, no one asked for my loyalty card, i anded up dealing with four peopele i acknowledged them all by name, not one asked my name and only the shelf stacker (nice young kid) seemed to care.

  5. I am trying to complain about a fraudulent transaction brought about at the Woolworths fuel station, Bowral, NSW. The paper-work is at present lodged with my bank, therefore I cannot give detail. I have been told by the Service Station that my refund is on the way, but it does not arrive. I am sick of being ‘messed about by Woolworths.

  6. The Complaints Manager.
I want to make a complaint about a short, dumpy female staff member, in her early 50’s, (this is the only way I can identify her as I didn’t get her name), at the Ingleburn store, that occurred at 0941hrs yesterday, Wednesday the 9th of November 2016.
Yesterday morning I went in to Woolworths at Ingleburn to make a purchase. (I have been shopping there since it opened approximately 19 years ago.) After I made my purchase through the “self check out” section I was asked by the above mentioned staff member; “Can I check your bag please?” Every time I go through this area and this staff member is there, she always asks to check my bag. When I do open my back pack or bag for inspection she just has a quick peak inside from the top. Next time I see this “Bag Nazi” I’m going to tip the entire contents of my back pack on the floor so she can have a proper look.
I have never been asked by any other staff member, either at the check out or the “self check out” section before, only by this one staff member. She obviously has something personal against me as it appears that she is targeting me. It’s rare that you see her ask to check any other customer’s bags or back packs.
When she asked to look in my back pack today I asked to see some I/D to prove she worked there. She told me that she didn’t have one. She went and got her supervisor and I asked to see her I/D. She told me she didn’t have one, that they have a name badge and “Woolworths” on their shirts. I told her that anyone could get hold of one of those items and stand around looking in customer’s bags or pretend to be a staff member. The supervisor told me that if I didn’t want my bags checked that I didn’t have to have them checked. I had my back pack opened for inspection and invited both women to look into it. Neither of them looked in it. If Woolworths are so security conscience they should have I/Ds and have all staff check all bags! I feel insulted and degraded that this woman treats me like a criminal and that I am considered guilty until I open my bag and prove that I haven’t stolen anything.
If searching customer’s bags or backpacks etc, was “store security policy”, then ALL staff would be doing it not just this one person. I have only seen one other staff member ask to check a customer’s back pack. That was about 2 years ago when the customer went through the security gate at the end of the “self check out” section and the alarm went off. Would you please explain what the alarmed security gates are for?
I have observed that since Coles closed a couple of years ago, in Ingleburn, (due to the mall being rebuilt), that the customer service in Woolworths Ingleburn has declined greatly. I will be so delighted when Coles reopens. Their staff are more professional and pleasant than Woolworth’s staff.

  7. very upset at the two discount policy we are on a pension and costs us more to buy one item at woolworths as not only is it too much but also too expensive if you have a special we would like to be able to get that benifit

  9. Absolutely disgusted that you can run a promotion where everyone at the swap day for marvel were looking for the same discs. How dare you treat loyal customers that way.I have been a customer for 52 years but coles is looking good at the moment.Obviously there was a leser amount of certain discs released.

  10. I had a order to come from woolies for today. 9th October they emailed me that the groceries would come today between 8am and 9am so I rang them and they said the truck broke down now it’s 12 am still haven’t come u would think that woolies would check the trucks before the next day for delivery not impressed going to Coles and I had to cancel an appointment with my dr for 10 today

  11. I get sick of looking into the filthy baskets Woolworth Churchill vic, expects people to put there food in I have approached staff twice now and asked if these baskets could be cleaned, nothing has been done they are filthy with dirt and grime old food scraps and rubbish, there is no hygiene with these baskets. can someone please get them cleaned

  12. I know the law states you have to sell cigarettes from the front kiosk however I had 2 Bananas and a packet of Kellogg’s breakfast biscuits I politely asked if I could make one transaction to buy a carton of cigarettes the lady at Mayfield NSW Store who was doing the newspapers this morning 27/02/2018 at 6 am replied with a very rude NO was the answer with no explanation. I know for a fact that I can go through the express checkouts that are joined up with the kiosk and buy my items you can then put that sale on hold go to the kiosk and buy the cigarettes all in one transaction

THOUGHT maybe you need to have your staff retrained in politeness and training as to what they can and cannot do when customers want to buy cigarettes with other items

FROM ONE ANGRY CUSTOMER WHO WILL GO TO COLES as I know they offer that service of putting transaction on hold and then purchase cigarettes
