    Spoke to a customer service person on a live chat on Monday 22/8/2016. They were not able to resolve my query about why $20 was withdrawn from my credit card account when to the best of my knowledge I do not have an account with fishpond. (may have used a couple of years ago I think.) Was told I would be contacted by phone within one business day. This has not happened. While looking at fishpond review site. I noticed somebody with the same last name as me (they were tagged Brophy999) complaining about lack of payment for traded books. While I have not received payments I am wondering if this is where the confusion lies as I have not purchased anything from fishpond recently. I also received an email from fishpond the other day which I discarded as I thought it was spam. If I am subscribed to fishpond would you kindly unsubscribe me. Thankyou.

    NOT AT ALL HAPPY ordered a book went through all the address details etc provided my card details received an e-gift from them and have now been told i haven’t paid and my order is pending
    I have then tried to get into my account only to be told my password is incorrect hmmm i have then tried for a new password and have been told they will send it to me via email – which hasn’t happened- i have now spent more time trying to contact anyone to do with fishpond than i would think necessary
    VERY UNHAPPY as this was supposed to be a Christmas present

    This is the first and LAST time I deal with these people. On the same day, I ordered a vest from UK and a DVD from this fishy mob. The verst arrived last week. I am still waiting for the DVD (despite confirmation email of receipt of my money). Is there someone I can phone? NO. But the crowning glory is that I now receive an inbox full of adds. As if I would be so stupid as to shop with people who take my money but neglect to send me the article again!!!!! I want my DVD or my money back AND I want to be able to speak to someone if and when things go wrong, like now. Utterly dissatisfied. 0/10 for fishpond.

    Dear Fishpond.com.au,

    I ordered the above item (77006271) as a Christmas Present on 22 November (29 days ago) and was told to expect delivery 6th -15th December.

    After ordering and paying, I received a confirmation email which, amongst other things, noted:
    “Track my order to view the latest shipping information about your order.” Unfortunately when following this link, there is no “latest shipping information”, only a screen saying I should receive the order 6th-15th December, but if not, allow extra 8 days for delays.

    Ok 23rd December, still OK for Christmas.

    Three days later (25th November), I received an order update via email, confirming that “Hooray! Today we sent your item from our UK fulfillment centre.”

    Today, being the 19th December, I decided to fill out a replacement request, as it seemed the order was not going to be on time and the “latest shipping information” has no additional information since I first checked a month ago.

    Within a couple of hours of my replacement request, I now receive an email advising that “there has been a temporary delay in sourcing this item. The stock information we had at the time of your order was out of date so we have had to reorder from another source.

    We now expect it to arrive at our warehouse between January 9, 2017 and January 19, 2017. You will receive an email notification on dispatch.”

    THIS IS SERIOUSLY BAD FORM, Fishpond.com.au, especially considering Christmas!

    Worse still, it appears that the email confirming the shipment had been dispatched was TOTALLY FALSE.

    I totally understand that delays and mistakes can happen. It happens to everyone. But this appears to be a systemic breakdown in basic communication, logistics and ordering processes, that has now left me exposed. Had I known when ordering that it was on back-order, I could have purchased elsewhere. Had I known 3 days later that the item had not shipped, I could have purchased elsewhere. Had I have known MORE THAN 6 DAYS BEFORE CHRISTMAS DAY, I could have tried elsewhere.

    Now I have no option but to wait or request refund.

    On top of that, I recommended your site to my Korean friends and co-workers thinking we (Australians) could do better than our US counterparts in customer service.

    I am truly disappointed with this experience. Most upsetting.

    Just read the above comments and completely agree this is the worse site I have ever used. I can never find my account, messages differ from minute to minute about even the existence of my order though the charge to my credit card does seem to exist. Can’t even send email using site form as no way to fill in ‘product’ even after giving order number. If we ever get this mess untangled I will nerver go to fishpond again

    I am at my wits end. You have a list of my DVD’s and sell them for me. I have to tick the sent button whenever I send the DVD. I supposedly forgot my password so I had to renew it. I have tried several times and you still wont recognise it and get me to do stupid puzzles to prove I am not a robot! Can’t get your help line cos you won’t recognise mypassword! I also sent a DVD at your request last week which you haven’t paid for. Send the money to paypal for both DVD’s and never get in touch with me again

    Our problem has been ignored by fishpond, they have not addressed the issue by anything other that ‘please wait 8 more days’ It’s been nearly 2 months and they won’t refund our money!
    Our item has not arrived, and Maria from fishponds customer support has not honoured fishpond’s policy with our refund.
    This is our 13th email and still no action. Do fishpond seriously think they can get away with such dishonest conduct??????

    In April 2019 I ordered the complete book on world cup soccer going through to 2019. I first recieved the history of submarines,I returned that and then received the world history only going to 2014.i returned that and requested the book I ordered and paid for. Today the 4th of August the book came. The same date 1014 as I previously returned.
    Never will I order anything from fishpond. I am disgusted with there service.

    Can’t contact. My order appears on Paypal, but noit on the Fishpond order in my account!! The contact page has a field of “slect order” but I can’t access – there is no order on record. I put in all details – invoice id etc – but can’t send off withour this stupid “select order” being completed. The email address to contact is NO WHERE TO BE FOUND!!!!!!!!!!!!
    Only option now is to get paypal to claim money back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
