Spintel is an Australian telecom company providing services mainly in broadband, 4G connectivity, home phone and NBN. Along with high quality services and products, Spintel claims to provide a friendly and expert services for customers’ assistance. In 2002, Spintel launched its ADSL services which were then, new in the market. In 2007, it came under contract with Optus and Telstra for business. Since 2008, it has been selling mobile internet plans and handsets. It is also an icode compliant to provide improved cyber security to its users.
Spintel was founded in 1996 under the name Spin Internet services by Peter Stevens in Sydney, NSW. Spintel changed its name in 2011 to reflect its involvement in the industry. Its sister company Comcen merged with Spintel in 2012. Spintel is headquartered in Sydney with Liam Bal serving as CEO. Spintel has won 18 awards since 2007.
