Posted another ad for my caravan as previous ad was not posted with other caravans of the same type and so I reposted today and same problem finding it hard to find my ad , tried emailing and various other avenues with gumtree with no result!

For some reason I cannot delete an ad. I sold an item and when I went to delete it there was a message saying you have no ads. Clearly it is still there because people keep enquiring about it.
Apart from the “advertising charge”, when an Item is sold does Gumtree expect some further payment ? Never used before and can not find that info in all the thousands of pieces of info showing.

My apologies. I placed an ad for the first time ever today. I clicked on ‘free’ because I thought that I wanted to try a free ad and not to pay for extras.
In the description I advertised for $80. This meant I had confused 4 callers who thought the item was free but saw the price then advertised so I had to explain in txt msg or phone call back. The ad was removed quickly which is good but I wish to ask that I may want to use gumtree again someday now I have more understanding of how to place an ad. Can you please confirm all is well for future if i want to use my newly opened account?
I also wish to comment that I found the website very good but that section was confusing for me to place the ad and may be for other people too?

I recently posted a 3 door bar fridge on Gumtree and received a response from larasue001@hotmail.com
I provided this person with payment details into my bank account and then, said person advised it had gone through PayPal and some rigmarole about having to pay for delivery myself.
The address and contact provided was for a XIQIANG ZHANG a city by name of Ji’an in China. Zip code 343900.
This in itself raised my suspicions and no further correspondence has been taken. Pay Pal has been contacted and they have advised it seems to be a bogus client. I personally do not have a Pay Pal account.
After that, I contacted my bank and took appropriate action.
Police will also be notified.
Can you please check as to the credibility of the above-mentioned larasue0012hotmail.com and if possible verify if it is in fact a scam.
I will not re-enter the bar fridge until I think it is safe to do so.

Two occasions I have listed a vehicle FOR SALE on Gumtree one 5/5/17 other 19/10/17 within a couple of hours an email stating the customer wants the car but lives in Darwin if we give our bank details money will be (EFT) & they will arrange pick up of vehicle. THIS IS A SCAM how do we deal with this?
