It is a tabloid format type newspaper. Its first edition is printed on 24 October, 1903 by editor Hamilton Mott and his brother Decimus. Nowadays the owner of this newspaper is Fairfax media. It is printed from Monday to Saturday and sold daily in Albury-Wodonga and its nearby areas. Early Saturday edition has only 8 printed pages, but now the pages it increases to 120. Almost 80000 copies are sold daily. It is basically sold in offices and colleges because of its special columns for jobbers and students.

I’m trying to locate an article in 1989 of the Boarder Mail. I think the title was ‘death siege’ where a woman was shot by her husband at the front of their Logan Road, North Albury residence.
The front page and several other pages of the Boarder mail were dedicated to this matter including a front page picture of police removing the dead womans body.
