  2. Hello, re GPS.
Why is the GPS still lacking in streets etc even after an update?
Streets that have been established for years are sometimes are not on the GPS. I can buy a cheap GPS to stick on the window that is far more reliable than the unit supplied in the Santa Fe. Why would I want to update it when the updates are not up to date. Travelling from Melbourne to southern NSW and two addresses were not listed.
The price charged for updates is excessive for the substandard / quality of accuracy of the update. This also means that the vehicle equipment is not reliable. Very disappointed.

  3. The paint started flaking off my 5 year old i30w. I took it to the dealer’s to get assessed. The not only made the original area larger, they attempted to scrape paint off an additional area and successfully scraped paint off in a 3rd area. Then told me they could do nothing to fix it. After sending a complaint to Hyundai I was told they would fix it but eventually was told they wouldn’t. Meanwhile, the faulty paint work is getting worse. Won’t be buying another Hyundai even if they were to fix it. And certainly won’t be buying from Tynan Motors again.

  4. Just letting Hyundai know my new address as I bought a Hyundai Accent in Toowoomba in 2015 and I wish to have my services performed @ Hyundai service Hervey Bay. My new address is as follows : 9 Paradise Street, Point Vernon, Hervey Bay, 4655. Thank you.

  5. Hi my name is Enayat I bought a Mazda bt 50 frome 1 cockburn central hyundai on contact says when your loan was not a proved you can get back your deposit. Now my loan was not proved when I call them they saying no you can’t get back your deposit .now how should I get back my deposit please help me the manager name is (Matt Hammond )

  6. We have a Tuscon x, its been a good car except for one feature, the air conditioning, we purchased the car in winter never thinking to test the ac, a big mistake. Our first trip to Sydney was ominous as the ac struggled to cool the car, in hot weather we perspired in our car with the ac on max, it was simply not up to the task.
Had the car inspected twice and the techo found no fault. With outside temp of 19 the ac on max barely copes, can hardly wait for summer.
Rang Hyundai service, the alleged customer care person stated if the techo was right I was the problem. Ok, so much for customer relations, so much for buying another Hyundai not that Hyundai cares less, we’ll had falcons, toyotas, mitsubishis with excellent ac systems, then this miserable unit.
Be if we were in the market fir a new car it would be another story altogether, we may be if the ac issue wont be resolved to our satisfaction, and guess what make it wont be.
    Terrible experience.

  7. On 27th December my Hyundai SantaFe with 25600 km on the clock had its EPB cease and I could not drive the car. I call roadside service who got the car going but I had to take it straight to the dealer, Ingle Farm Still well Hyundai. Received a call Thursday morning to say the part needed to fix the car had to come from Sydney and would not be available till the following Thursday or Friday. This means my car is out of action for 8 or 9 days! I had to cancel our planned holiday away. I find this totally unacceptable it has ruined our holiday and Hyundai will charge me for the privilege. Not Happy at all. My next car will Not be a Hyundai, that’s for shore and I will be telling anyone who listens the same, don’t buy Hyundai.

  8. Sir/Madam,my wife and i purchased a veloster at your Essendon dealership approximately two years ago. It was fitted with the adrenalin package, including vinyl stripes. The stripes recently have become marled with black spots. i have been to a local repairer who believes they may be cominated or faulty and advised me to visit the dealership for advise. Photos were taken and forwarded to hyundai Aust. Can you please advise at your earliest convenience regarding your thoughts. I believe the vinyl stripes are covered by the 5 year warranty. I will be sincerly disappointed if my enquiry is written off as outside influence as the the paint is not affected and the deterioration is becoming worse. I am prepared to accept a reasonable explanation for the problem, I must say if i,m not satisfied with said explanation i will pursue every avenue available to me to achieve a satisfactory outcome. Quite honestly, i do not trust the product. i would rather it removed and not replaced than worry about it,s longevity. I sincerly hope you consider my plee genuine and consider all options available to my wife and I. Faithfully Yours David Muir.

  9. I disconnected my battery recently as I was going away for a few weeks, and now require the pass code for the radio.
The car has had a couple of previous owners so the card supplied at original purchase is missing.
Are you able to supply the pass code and what further information do you require from me to do this. Hyundai Elantra 2008, 681 MRA.
    Rego is 681 MRA
