I am an Aussie working in PNG and an avid fan of Sky News essentially because it counters the march of the Left through much of our media and many of our institutions, organisations and businesses in Australia.

Recently, the service to PNG via Digicel (and Hitron who Digicel acquired some time ago giving them monopoly) has been discontinued. There are many thousands of Aussies working in PNG many of whom I would think would be Sky News viewers.

Whist it’s possible the discontinuation may have been a political decision from one level or another (which I certainly hope isn’t the case) , my guess is that it may be have been for commercial reasons. If so, I wonder is it within the realms of possibility that Sky News provide an acceptable rate to Digicel to allow the service of this vitally important news channel to be restored.
