This is my rd oair of muck boots. First pair were the shoe type and I got many years out of them. The second pair were the boots. I got 5 seasons out of them and on the fifth season, the seam opened on the back of the heal leaving me with severe blisters while I was hiking. I bought another pair, my third. They cost me $150. This is my third season with them and this winter the seam on the heal on the inside separated like the other pair, again leaving me with huge open, raw blisters on my heal. Is this a defective part of the boot? I love the boots but after such a costly boot and so short a life span, I am very hesitant about getting another pair. Of course I do not have my receipt from years ago. I am extremely upset over this issue. Where does this leave me and is there anything that can be done?
