Dugald Milton Dick was born on 21 July 1972 in Brisbane. He attended his school in Brisbane. He is brother of Queensland Government Minister, Cameron Dick. He graduated from University of Queensland. Milton worked as advisor for Federal Government and then worked for both state and local level government. Besides this, Milton served as:
- Secretary of Australian Labor Party in Queensland from 2004-08.
- Brisbane City Council Leader of the Opposition in 2012.
- Councilor for the Richlands Ward for 8 years from 2008-16.
In 2015, Milton Dick was already selected to contest the Division of Oxley. He won 2016 federal elections for the same. Dick speaks for optimum services for childcare and healthcare. He believes children’s health and education must not be compromised because of money.
