Maia Mitchell is an Australian actress and singer. She is known for her roles in Mortified, Teen Beach and The Fosters. She is active since 2006.
Maia Mitchell was born (18 August 1993) in Lismore, NSW to Alex and Jill. She went to Trinity Catholic College, Lismore.
She started appearing in theatre plays and local productions which attracted talent companies and they signed her at the age of 12 and she got her break. She was cast as Brittany Flune in Australian TV series Mortified. She earned herself roles in TV series Trapped and Castaway as Natasha Hamilton and also acted in K-9 and Doctor Who. She moved to US and starred in Disney Channel series Jessie and then in lead role of McKenzie of Disney Channel, Teen Beach Movie and Teen Beach 2. She stars as Callie Jacob in series The Fosters. She has also acted in After the Dark (2013) and gave voice in Phineas and Ferb.
