Nathan Mitchell Coulter-Nile, born on 11th October, 1987 in Perth, Western Australia, is an Australian right-arm fast medium bowler in ODI and T20I format.
Coulter-Nile has two sisters and he is the eldest of three. He went to Aquinas College and played in U-17 and U-19 tournaments representing his state. He played his grade cricket for Fremantle District Cricket Club and got himself third grade. Later on went to play in first-grade cricket and performed well. As a member of Dennis Lillie Academy he was selected for Australian U-19 squad and played against Pakistan U-19. He appeared for Cricket Australia Cup for second XI team.
Coulter-Nile made his ODI debut against England in Sept 2013 and T20I debut against West Indies in February, 2013. Coulter-Nile can bat as well. He was recommended by Mike Hussey and Shane Watson after his performances in Sheffield Shield in 2013. He scored 16 and took one wicket in his debut T20I match. Coulter-Nile’s performance in further matches was not impressive as he conceded 47 in 4 overs in second international T20 match.
Besides playing for ODI and T20I, Coulter-Nile plays in IPL for Delhi Daredevils and formerly for Mumbai Indians. He had a contract with Perth Scorchers and had played fr Western Australian team in his first-class career.
In 2012-13, he was given Laurie Sawle Medal for Western Australia’s Cricketer of the Year.
