Adam Garcia is a popular Australian actor and tap dancer. He was born in Wahroonga, New South Wales on 1 June 1973. Garcia dropped from university to take part in the show named Slide in the production of the musical Hot Shoe Shuffle, which toured Australia for two years.
He debuted as a film actor in 1997 with the film Wilde. He was a part of the stage version of Saturday Night Fever in London during 1998-99. His single “Night Fever” from this show had reached number 15 in the UK singles chart in 1998. He went on to act in movies like Coyote Ugly, Bootmen & Riding In Cars With Boys, Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen (2004). Garcia worked with Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenoweth to help create the role of Fiyero in the 2002 musical called Wicked. In January 2010 Garcia appeared alongside Ashley Banjo and Kimberly Wyatt as a judge on the reality show ‘Got To Dance’ & appeared as a judge on Australia’s ‘Dancing With The Stars’ for 2 seasons.
