Scandinavian Airlines is an airline holding company founded in 1946 by the merger of ABA, DDL and DNL. Its headquarter is located in Sweden. SAS Group is owned by companies and government of country while Government of Sweden have 21.4% share in Scandinavian Airlines, Government of Denmark has 14.3% share and Government of Norway has 14.3% share.
Fritz Schur is the current chairman while Rickard Gustafson is the CEO of SAS Group. By the end of 2015 SAS Group has more than 11,000 employees. By the mid of 2014 the company has fleet size of more than 130 aircraft including Airbus A319 100, Airbus A320 200, Airbus A321 200, Airbus A330 300, Airbus A340 300, Boeing 737 600, Boeing 737 800.
