Nicky Whelan was born (10th May, 1981) in Victoria. Nicky is the granddaughter of Marcus Whelan, an Australian Football Player in 1930s and 40s. In 2003, Nicky was cast as Pepper Steiger in Neighbours.
Nicky started her career as a model and before appearing in Neighbours, hosted a number of shows which include: Coxy’s Big Break, Beyond the Boundary, Melbourne Women, and hosted night racing at Moonee Valley for 8 years. Whelan played Chrissie Grant, a fictional celebrity on Russell Coight’s Celebrity Challenge. She was a model for Australian Magazines: FHM, Inside Sport and Ralph.
After appearing on Neighbours, she announced in Harrow, London that she will start her career in films. She shot Hollywood and Wine in Los Angeles opposite David Spade.
She appeared as Maya in the final season of Scrubs. She appeared as Leigh in the 2011 film, Hall Pass and in The Wedding Ringer with Kevin Hart.
Nicky Whelan married Kerry Rhodes in Los Angeles on 15th April, 2017.
