Emily Jane Browning born in year 1988, December 7 to mother Shelley Browning and father Andrew. She did her schooling from Eltham High School. She is older to two brothers Nicholas and Matthew.
Emily started her career with debut role in The Echo Of Thunders, movie of Hallmark Channel then she played role from 2000 to 2002 in a television serial Blue Heelers, from 2000 to 2001 in Something in The Air and then in she did her debut movie in 2001, The Man Who Sued God and played role of Rebecca Myers. She has worked in 9 television series and 1 is about to come in 2017 and 18 movies and one video game, Lemony Snicket’s A series of Unfortunate Events. In her singing career she sang in an album Slucker Punch in 2011 and till now she did 4 music albums. She won three awards and nominated for two categories of best young actress and best performance. Emily played lead role in a horror movie The Uninvited in 2009 and this was the remake of an South Korean movie. In 2010, it was announced that Emily is going to play lead role in an independent Australian movie, Sleeping Beauty. For the movie Summer in February, an actress Ophelia Lovibond was replaced with Emily in 2012.
Now she is on break from her acting career because now she is studying the University of Queensland.
