Emilie De Ravin is a 35 year old Australian TV and film actress. De Ravin appeared as Tess Harding in series Roswell and Claire Littleton on ABC’s series Lost. She is been present in the industry since 1999.
Emilie was born (27 December 1981) in Mount Eliza, Victoria, an outer southeastern suburb of Melbourne. She studied ballet when she was 9 at Christa Cameron School of Ballet in Melbourne. She was home schooled by her mother and when she was 15, she was accepted at Australian Ballet School, performed at productions with The Australian Ballet and Danceworld 301. She attended National Institute of Dramatic Arts for acting and also at Prime Time Actors Studio in Los Angeles.
Emilie’s first major role was in Beastmaster as Curupira and then as Tess Harding on Roswell when she was just 18. She joined Lost in 2004 and stayed for all 4 seasons as a regular cast member. In 2005, she portrayed Emily Kostich in Brick, lead role of Brenda Carter in the remake of The Hills Have Eyes (2006), Ball Don’t Lie (2007), The Perfect Game and Public Enemies, both in 2009. She filmed 5th and 6th season of Lost after renewal of her contract with ABC.
She married Josh Janowicz in 2003 in Melbourne, Australia. After being on and off in their marriage, the couple finally got separated legally in 2014. She is now engaged with Eric Bilitch since July 2016 and have a baby girl together.
