China Airlines is the flat carrier and is the largest airline of Republic of China. It was founded on 16th December 1959 with head office located in Taoyuan International Airport. The Airlines operates more than 1400 flights weekly across Asia, North America, Europe and Oceania. Mandarin Airlines and Tigerair Taiwan are the subsidiaries of China Airlines. Currently, Nuan Hsuan Ho is the Chairman while Shih Chien Hsieh is the president of China Airlines.
In 2014 the airline had an operating income of NTD 1.871 billion and generated revenue of NTD 139.726 billion. China Airline has more than 12000 employees working globally.
