Andrew John Hansen popularly known as Andrew Hanse is an Australian comedian & musician. He is popularly known as a member of The Chaser (Australian Satirical comedy group). He was born on 18th September 1974. Hansen completed his school education from The Hills Grammar School located in Kenthurst, New South Wales and graduation with honours in Australian history & Australian literature from University of Sydney.
He worked as a co writer and actor in several TV series including ABC Television shows CNNNN, The Chaser Decides, Chaser News Alert, The Chaser’s War On Everything, Yes We Canberra!, The Hamster Wheel, The Hamster Decides and The Chaser’s Media Circus. Andrew also produced 2012 released TV series The Unbelievable Truth. He was a co writer and performer of several The Chaser’s Stage Shows including Cirque du Chaser and The Chaser’s Age of Terror Variety Hour.
Some of his notable work includes CNNNN (2002–2003), Cirque du Chaser (2005), The Blow Parade (2010), The Hamster Wheel (2011–12), The Hamster Decides (2013). Hansen won Australian Comedy Award for Outstanding Television Newcomer for his performance in the first season of CNNNN.
