Alice Englert is a young Australian actress who has been in the film and TV industry since 2006. She is known for her role of Rosa in the film Ginger and Rosa.
Alice was born (15 June 1994) in Sydney, Australia. Her mother is a New Zealand born Australian director Jane Campion and father, Colin David Englert is a filmmaker. She was raised in Sydney. Her schooling was done in New York City, London, Rome, New Zealand and Australia.
Englert became an actress at the age of 8 doing Listen and at 12, a short film, The Water Diary, directed by her mother. Alice starred in 2012 film Ginger and Rosa as Rosa. In the same year romance and adventure epic film The Lovers which is yet to be released, in 2013, a horror film In Fear and then in Beautiful Creatures. She also acted in some mini-series and series: New Worlds (2014), Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell (2015), Little Mouse on the Prairie (2017).
